THE CASE:
This patient came to us with several teeth that had been filled with amalgam for over 25 years. While the fillings had served their purpose, the teeth no longer felt strong—and the metallic appearance was something the patient had wanted to change for a long time. Their main concerns were both function and aesthetics.
The Treatment:
After a full evaluation and discussion of their goals, we recommended restoring the teeth with Zirconia crowns placed on the tooth. This approach would improve strength and function while offering a natural, seamless appearance.
We carefully prepared the outer surfaces and placed custom-made Zirconia crowns directly over the teeth. Each crown was designed to match the patient’s smile.
