Restoring a Severely Damaged Tooth with a Root Canal and Zirconia Crown

Real People, Real Smiles.

As always, no names, dates, or personal details are shared—just real stories from patients who trusted us with their care.

THE CASE:

After a full clinical evaluation, we determined that the tooth could still be preserved with a root canal treatment, followed by a Zirconia crown for full coverage and protection.

The root canal allowed us to remove the infection and stabilize the tooth from within. Once the area had healed, we placed a custom-crafted Zirconia crown to restore strength, seal the tooth, and bring back its natural appearance.

The Treatment:

After evaluating the area and discussing all treatment options, we determined that the best solution was to preserve the natural tooth with a root canal treatment. This allowed us to eliminate the infection and strengthen the tooth from within.

Once healing was complete, we restored the tooth with a custom zirconia crown, offering both durability and a natural-looking result that blends seamlessly with the surrounding teeth.

The patient was relieved to keep their natural tooth and thrilled with how seamless the final result looked. More importantly, they were able to eat, smile, and speak without discomfort or worry.

WHY WE DO IT:

Not every compromised tooth has to be extracted. With the right timing and care, we’re often able to restore and protect teeth that might otherwise be lost. In this case, what could’ve been the end of a tooth turned into a fresh start.
